Eye Disease Management

Mother Father and Son, multicultural family. It's worth preventing vision loss with early diagnosis of eye disease.

Ocular Disease Diagnosis and Treatment

Preserving the eyesight of our patients so they can get the most out of life is our greatest goal. Our Eye Care Clinic makes it a policy to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to make your visit as comfortable and effective as possible. As optometric technology changes, it is even more important to visit an eye doctor who has all the right optometry qualifications and follows the latest developments in eye care.

Utilizing cutting edge technology, we diagnose and manage, with greater precision, diseases like Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, and Diabetic Retinopathy. Earlier and more precise diagnosis means earlier treatment and better outcomes. We can take an aggressive approach to diseases that previously had few treatment options. Great advances have been made in the treatment of these diseases.

Dear valued patients:

We love our patients and the work we do so very much. While we are sad to think we will have to miss seeing your beautiful smiles for the next few weeks, protecting the health and safety of our patients, staff and the members of our community is of the utmost importance.

In response to recent recommendations from the California Optometric Association and the local government for limiting the spread of COVID-19, our office will be closed for three weeks, effective today – Monday, March 16 – at 4pm. All regularly scheduled routine eye appointments will be cancelled. Our team will reach out to those impacted to reschedule.

If you need assistance with ordering or picking up CLs/glasses, please email us at info@universityoptometry.com or text us at 650-766-6655. We will be checking both emails and texts throughout the day, but please be patient with us in getting back to you. If you are experiencing an eye emergency, please text us at 650-766-6655. We will do our best to get back to you in a timely manner. If you do not hear back within 30 minutes, please go to the local urgent care or the emergency room.

Thanks for your patience with us as we try to work through this. Stay tuned for updates via email.

Stay safe and healthy! We look forward to seeing you all back in a few weeks. Thanks, Your Friends at University Optometry
